Questions to be Answered!

Where will we ride in 2025?

How Far will we go?

Who will we raise funds for?

When will we do it?

We did it!

It was a tough ride: -

  • The second longest we’ve done

  • With the steepest climb we’ve done

  • And the hardest hill EVER!

100 Mile Sponsored Bike Ride to benefit the Lechlade Community Library

On 15th June, the Lechlade and District Lions and Friends of Lions cyclists will ride a MASSIVE 100 miles (which is 160+ kilometres!) to the Malvern Hills and back, leaving from Lechlade market square at about 7.00am and getting back in the late afternoon of the same day.

In 2023, this event raised over £4,000 for the mobile cancer unit which serves our area - and in 2024, the monies raised will mainly benefit the Lechlade Community Library.

The library itself is now a charity run entirely by volunteers, and it serves people all across our district. It is currently planning a major refit and is raising money to supplement grants from Lechlade Town Council, the National Lottery and other local donors.

The library is an essential resource for local residents of all ages - everyone from children to seniors - and provides a range of services alongside its book-lending such as tourist Information, photocopying, access to the internet, and a community hub.

Please support the library and support the Lions to raise what is needed! If you want to join the ride, email fundraising@lechadelions.org.uk.

It will be the same happy group as seen in the picture plus a few more

Thank you for sponsoring us.
